Jennifer Hedges is an assistant professor in Booth UC’s Social Work program. Her husband Wil is a family lawyer specializing in child welfare. Both are Booth UC alumni and proud parents of three beautiful little children.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Booth UC and her MSW from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Wil received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies and a Bachelor of Theology from Booth UC and went on to complete his Juris Doctor degree at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. Together, they are a powerful force in the community, impacting lives in the classroom and the courtroom.
“In many ways my objectives as an instructor are the same as my objectives as a social worker. That is, I strive to help others reach their potential. I bring enthusiasm and excitement for learning as well as creativity to the education process. I genuinely care about students and getting to know who they are as a whole person,” said Jennifer. “Booth is a place for transformation, a place to discover the possibilities of your life and the impact you can have in the world. Going to work in that environment is something I look forward to everyday.”
