Due to uncertainty about the timeline of the vaccine rollout and to ensure the safety of the community and the quality of instruction, Booth UC has decided that Fall delivery will remain virtual; limited face-to-face instruction can take place at the instructor’s discretion as permitted by Manitoba Health orders in place at the time (number of students and room availability to be determined).
If an instructor decides on face-to-face meetings (and if that can be accommodated), all classes will be delivered virtually as well for students that may not be in Winnipeg or who cannot, for whatever reason, come to campus. Instructors will be responsible for communication with students about any changes to delivery.
As the term progresses, we will consider moving more classes, as well as co-circular activities, to campus. Administration will communicate with instructors if more face-to-face options become available.
The Crisis Management Team continues to monitor the situation and will review as provincial regulations change.
Understanding the situation is ever-changing, any general questions can be directed to communications@boothuc.ca.
