I hope you had the opportunity to view the graduation video yesterday, or that you will be able to this week. Graduating student, Camillia Layne (BSW), did a wonderful job of creating this opportunity and bringing it all together with help from a few of our staff, and it is a lovely commemoration of our graduating class. Thank you to all who participated in this joyful celebration of our students. For today and the coming week, may Psalm 103 and this wonderful old hymn refresh you in mind and spirit.
Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.
Praise, My Soul Henry Francis Lyte
PRAISE, my soul, the king of Heaven,
To His feet Thy tribute bring;
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
Who like Thee His praise should sing?
Praise the everlasting king.
Praise Him for His grace and favor
To our fathers in distress;
Praise Him still the same as ever,
Slow to chide and swift to bless;
Glorious in His faithfulness.
Fatherlike He tends and spares us;
Well our feeble frame He knows,
In His hands He gently bears us,
Rescues us from all our foes.
Widely as His mercy flows.
Angels in the heights adore Him,
Ye behold Him face to face;
Sun and moon bow down before Him:
Dwellers all in time and space,
Praise with us the God of grace.
