Bricks in the Bistro: A New Way to Help Booth UC Students

March 24, 2021

Booth University College is pleased to announce the launch of a new fundraising campaign, Bricks in the Bistro. The campaign will bring together the Booth UC community to help build the future of Education for a Better World for students.

The campaign gives donors the opportunity to purchase a brick on a Donor Wall and commemorate a family member, loved one, recent grad, favourite professor, and/or graduation year on a brick, as part of a series of 2’6” x 10’ donor walls in the Booth UC Bistro.

With our current pandemic circumstances, the Donor Wall will initially be virtual, located on our Booth UC website. The physical Donor Wall(s) will be unveiled at Booth UC’s 40th anniversary celebration in 2022. “With our 40th year coming up, we wanted to give people the opportunity to think about the impact Booth UC has made in their lives,” explains Mia Dunn, Development Coordinator. “The campaign is a chance for our community to come together and help build the future with the goal of sending more students out into the world to impact their communities with hope, mercy and social justice.”

Booth UC’s donor wall will have three different-sized graphic representations of bricks. These bricks represent the institution’s mission statement through the words Hope, Mercy, and Justice. The Hope brick is the smallest brick available, for a donation of $250. The Mercy brick is a medium-size brick and is available for a donation of $500 and finally, the Justice brick is our largest brick available for a donation of $1000. All donations will be directed to the Education for a Better World Fund.

Thank you for being an important part of Education for a Better World.
