Booth University College remains committed to the health and safety of our campus community; therefore, Booth UC campus will remain closed to the general public for the fall term, with the exception of the Library.Further to communication sent in July 2021 encouraging the importance of vaccines as being the best way to protect against COVID-19, Booth UC will require all employees, students and visitors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to be permitted on campus. Wendi Thiessen joins Booth UC as Director of the School of Business.

We are thrilled to announce our newest faculty member, Wendi Thiessen. Wendi commenced her role as Director of the School of Business/Business Administration Faculty on July 1. She comes to Booth UC with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba, and a Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University. In addition to teaching at I.H. Asper School of Business, Wendi spent 17 years at the Canadian Wheat Board, with her final position being Vice-President and Treasurer, and more recently, worked for 5 years

Lt-Colonel John P. Murray is excited to be building on a “rich legacy” of leadership. As of June 1, Lt-Colonel John P. Murray has been appointed the new chair of the Board of Trustees at The Salvation Army’s Booth University College in Winnipeg.
