CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE FROM BOOTH UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, NOVEMBER 12, 2020

Manitoba Pandemic Response Level Red – Critical

Due to the announcement by Manitoba Public Health this week, the following directives are in place for the duration of Response Level Red.

All employees (faculty and staff) except those in the departments listed below (essential services) are strongly encouraged to work from home during Level Red. Employees are to notify their supervisor about how this affects their schedule. At this time, the following departments will remain working from campus during regular working hours Monday – Friday:
– Facilities
– Hospitality
– Student Services
– Front Desk (Waldron Building)
– Library
– Financial Services (limited days)

All business meetings will be held virtually.

All on-campus classes will continue to be delivered virtually. Any scheduled face to face meetings will be cancelled.

Library hours will be reduced, evening hours will be eliminated; exact hours to be posted on the library website.

All Student Services supports will continue to be provided virtually.

Residence will continue to interact within cohorts. As per provincial directives in regard to households, no socializing outside of residence or between cohorts will be allowed at this time.

The Crisis Management Team continues to monitor the situation and will review as provincial regulations change.
