COVID-19 UPDATE FROM BOOTH UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, August 30, 2022

August 30, 2022

NOTE FOR ALL BOOTH UC STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF:  IF YOU HAVE COLD OR FLU SYMPTOMS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU’VE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID, DO NOT COME TO CAMPUS

All classes, services, and programs will have virtual participation options.

Booth University College remains committed to the health and safety of our campus community.  This Bulletin covers the Fall term, barring any change to the current COVID situation.

Anyone who tests positive for COVID must stay home for a minimum of 5 days, be symptom-free for 24 hours and test negative before returning to campus.

If there is COVID in your household, but you are testing negative, you may come to campus but do not remove your mask even in the exception situations.

Booth University College will no longer require proof of vaccination for anyone coming to campus (employees, students, contractors, and visitors).

Booth will, however, require all employees, students, contractors, and visitors to wear a 3-ply well-fitted filtered mask, ie. KN95, N95, medical grade, etc., whenever on campus, (including in the classroom), with a few exceptions.

Masks do not need to be worn:

  • While seated in the Bistro;
  • While an employee is alone in their office;
  • Instructors may remove their masks when teaching, provided they have two meters distance from students

For any event or meeting in which the organizer has arranged social distancing and the participants are seated, the organizer of the event or meeting may inform participants that masks may be removed.

Masks and Rapid Tests are available at Student Services Information Desk.
