Why did you choose Booth UC?
I chose Booth UC because it is a hands-on and more personalized style of education. With the small class sizes, it makes it easier to ask questions and establish a better relationship with professors. I am grateful and honoured to be attending Booth University College.
How does the scholarship/award you received impact your life and/or your studies?
The scholarship made me feel more welcomed into the Booth UC community. I also feel recognized for the work and skills of my previous degree. I appreciate all the support this scholarship award has given me. Education comes at a price, and I am grateful for the financial assistance.
How do you plan on using your “Education for a Better World”?
Growing up in an inclusive household that supported my Autistic brother developed my interest in helping community members. My hope is to create equity and accessibility with the education I will receive. Through learning and experience, I hope to help make the world overall more inclusive.
