Dr. Jason Davies-Kildea has more than 20 years of experience working in faith-based social services and teaching across a range of subjects in Melbourne, Australia. He is the author of What is the Meaning of Salvation in The Salvation Army Today? (Lambert, 2008). Jason’s research and teaching interests focus on the intersection of theology and social science, bringing together post graduate qualifications in both fields. Jason completed his PhD at Monash University (Australia), where his work focused on the relationship between The Salvation Army’s identity as a church and its role as a major social service provider in Australia.
