Stephan Bireley graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. He later returned for post graduate work and earned a Master of Business Administration.
Currently, Stephan serves as the Kroc and Community Center Director for The Salvation Army USA West territory. Prior to that, he had the privilege of being the first Kroc Center employee, serving as the Director of Business & Operations for the first ten years of operation at the San Diego Kroc Center.
Previously, Stephan spent seven years in the wonderful world of Disney, in various capacities with Disney Sports Enterprises. This provided him with the opportunity to learn the “Disney way” of program, finance, and operations. Stephan served in a variety of capacities for Disney Sports Enterprises, including with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim of the National Hockey League and the Anaheim Angels of Major League Baseball.
Stephan’s resume includes vast experience in finance and operations in companies ranging from sole proprietorships to LLCs and Fortune 500 corporations. He has built a successful track record in sports, recreation, entertainment, and food & beverage administration and operation.
In his spare time, Stephan focuses on the brutal reality of two sons in college and how to navigate this without having to work evenings as a Walmart greeter.
