Dr. Andrew Eason
Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Religion; Director, School of Humanities and Social Sciences
Andrew M. Eason is a graduate of several post-secondary institutions across Canada, including Booth UC. Andrew received his Doctor of Philosophy in Religious Studies from the University of Calgary in November 2005. Dr. Eason has been part of the Religion faculty since January 2009. He was granted tenure in 2016 and appointed Director, School of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2018. In addition to his teaching responsibilities—which include courses in the history of Christianity, World Religions and Christian Thought—Dr. Eason researches and writes widely on the history of the Salvation Army.
