Meagan believes that your impact on the world is determined by your passion and your ability to separate quality writing & data from the multitude that is merely good or adequate. She received her BEd (Distinction) from the University of Regina and MLIS (Great Distinction) from McGill University in Montreal, with an emphasis on merging technology with learning and on working with early manuscripts.
She worked in the “real world” as a Teacher-Librarian & Learning Resource Consultant for the public school system before finding her niche in academia. As Library Director, Meagan works with faculty & students to increase Information Literacy as well as language literacy. Also, she has taught introductory courses in research methods, English composition, & college preparation.
When not working, Meagan can be found hiking, cross-country skiing, and volunteering at a local animal shelter. She enjoys theatre (both onstage and off), music, and traveling.
