Wendi Thiessen

Wendi joined BoothUC in July 2021 as the Director of the Business Administration Program. She did her undergraduate degree at the University of Manitoba, followed by an MBA at Queen’s University. Her areas of academic interest include Leadership and Effective Management of not-for-profit organizations.
Wendi has worked in several senior finance roles throughout her career and has experience in treasury, banking, risk management, project planning and management, strategic planning, mergers, and acquisitions as well as managing high-performing teams in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Wendi is a lifelong Winnipegger and is excited to have joined a great team of student-centered faculty at Booth UC.
