Associate of Business Administration Degree

The two-year Associate of Business Administration Degree through the School of Business provides students with foundational competence in the key areas of business in combination with a liberal arts background.

Program Overview

This degree is designed for those looking for a program shorter than a four-year degree but seeking the knowledge and skills necessary to help them gain entry into the for-profit or not-for-profit sectors. It is also for students interested in the foundational elements to aid them in starting their own business. Upon graduating, students may continue on to complete their three or four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

Students will establish competence in five basic areas of business.

  • Human Resource Management
  • Marketing
  • Organizational Behaviour
  • Production Operations

Total Credit Hours Required: 60

Business/Economics: 33 credit hours
Liberal Arts -Booth UC Core: 27 credit hours

Career Possibilities

The Associate of Business Administration degree will provide you with the knowledge and skills to help you start a business, or gain entry into an organization in the for-profit or not-for-profit area such as a management trainee, program coordinator, various administrative and clerk positions, account representatives, and banking customer service representatives.
