This scholarship was first offered at graduation in 1989.
It is given to a returning Level Two or Level Three Salvation Army student with a minimum 2.5 CGPA who will be participating in missions, preferably outside of Canada.
If no mission opportunities are available in a given year, the award can be provided for mission opportunities within Canada.
