In keeping with the urban mission of Booth University College, the library is located in the heart of Winnipeg. It houses a growing collection of over 55,000 books, journals, videos, audio-cassettes, CD-ROM’s, maps and microfilms, specializing in the fields of social work, theology, and pastoral care and counseling. In addition, the library subscribes to approximately 150 journals and periodicals and has past issues of over 240 journals. In addition we have many electronic resources available, both on the Internet and on CD-ROM.
Assistance using the library and its resources is available from all staff. All students, including distance education and summer school students, are provided with document/book delivery services. As well, Booth College is part of a co-operative network of other college and university libraries in the Winnipeg area. This provides borrowing privileges at these other libraries for students and faculty.
