What makes this program distinctive is our core curriculum. These courses expose you to a breadth of knowledge across many disciplines. Study the arts, religion, social sciences, and sample courses in business and social work. You'll also gain practice through experiential learning.
Gain a diverse understanding of how the world works. Learn how to think critically about complex topics and articulate an informed world view.
Interested in pre-law, but also in immigrant studies? Combine Psychology and Sociology, and focus on immigrant populations for your assignments and experiential learning. Want to be a teacher? Try English as a major teachable and Religion or Psychology as your minor teachable. Have a passion for community development and advocacy? Combine Urban Studies or Sociology with business courses in marketing, leadership, accounting, and branding.

This program is open to all students on a direct entry basis. After 60 credit hours of study, students must meet a minimum GPA of 2.0 to continue in the program.
3 Year (90 credits)
- At least 90 credit hours
- 42 credit hours in the core curriculum
- ENG280 Literary & Cultural Theory
- At least one disciplinary 395 Special Topics course
- BHS499 or HUM499 Integration capstone course
- 36 credit hours in two disciplines in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (English, Film Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Religion, Philosophy, History) and The School of Business
- 18 credit hours in each discipline
- at least 6 credit hours at 300 level or above
4 Year (120 credits)
- At least 120 credit hours
- 42 credit hours in the core curriculum
- ENG280 Literary & Cultural Theory
- At least two disciplinary 395 Special Topics courses, one in each of the two chosen disciplines
- BHS499 or HUM499 Integration capstone course
- 48 credit hours in two disciplines in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (English, Film Studies, Sociologt, Psychology, Religion, Philosophy, History) and The School of Business
- 24 credit hours in each discipline
- 18 credit hours at the 200 level or above
- including 6 credit hours at the 300 level or above
