The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Booth University College is a graduate degree we created to equip ethical, innovative, and socially responsible leaders for today’s complex business world. Rooted in Booth UC’s mission of Hope, Justice, and Mercy, the MBA prepares students to lead organizations that balance profitability with purpose. Students can choose between two specialized concentrations:

Designed for working professionals, the Booth UC MBA follows a modular, practice-oriented format combining rigorous academic content, experiential learning, and a strong emphasis on ethical management and sustainability.

Delivery Format

The Booth UC MBA is delivered through an intensive modular format, allowing working professionals to integrate full-time work and study. Each course runs every three weeks (3–5 days of intensive classes, 20 contact hours).

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited or recognized institution with a minimum 2.5 CGPA

  • Preference given to those with minimum of two years professional experience

  • English proficiency, see options below

  • Letter of Interest (250–500 words) outlining your motivation, goals, and reasons for choosing the Booth UC MBA

  • Curriculum Vitae / Résumé detailing education and professional experience

  • Two or three letters of recommendation from academic or professional supervisors

  • Official transcripts and notarized copies of your degree/diploma

  • Additional interview requirement: Short-listed applicants will be invited to an admissions interview as part of the final evaluation

English Proficiency 

1. English Proficiency Test Options

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

Official TOEFL or equivalent test results must be forwarded to Booth University College. (For more details visit TOEFL. Booth University College’s code is 7951).

TOEFL iBT Score Requirements:

For exams taken before January 21, 2026:
Minimum total score: 100
Minimum section scores: Reading: 23, Listening: 23, Writing: 23, Speaking: 23

For exams taken on or after January 21, 2026:
Minimum total score: 5
Minimum section scores: Reading: 5, Listening: 5, Writing: 5, Speaking: 5

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test

A minimum of 7 overall, on the paper-based International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Module, is required. A minimum 6.5 on each band is also required. Official IELTS test results must be forwarded to Booth University College.

Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) test

A minimum score of 70 overall and 60 on each subject in the Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) assessment is required. Official CAEL test results must be forwarded to Booth University College.

Pearson Test of English – Academic (PTE Academic)

A minimum score of 65 overall, with no less than 63 in each band is required for admission to Booth University College.

2. Approved Waiver

Under certain circumstances, students may request a waiver of the English language proficiency requirement. They will need to provide supporting documentation to show that one of the following conditions are met:

A. Ten consecutive years of residency in Canada that may include years of study in Canada. The period of residency will be the time lapsed between the "Landed On" date on the "Record of Landing" document and the start of the program.

B. Successful completion of a three-year secondary school program in Canada, or three years of post-secondary education in Canada, or any combination of three successful calendar years of secondary and post-secondary education in Canada.

Successful completion of secondary studies equates to meeting the entrance requirements of the University of Manitoba. Secondary education must include Grade 12 where appropriate and completion of five-course credits per year.
Successful completion of post-secondary education equates to a minimum completion of 72 credit hours or equivalent.

C. Graduation from a Manitoba high school, with five credits at the Grade 12 level, which include two credits of English at the 40S level with an average grade of 75%.

D. Graduation from a Canadian Curriculum secondary school (other than Manitoba curriculum) with a year 12 English Literature grade of 75% or higher.

E. Achieved a grade of four or greater on the International Baccalaureate Higher Level English course, or a grade of four or greater on the Advanced Placement English examination (Language Composition; Literature and Composition).

*Additionally, applicants can receive the waiver if they verify conditions equivalent to A, B or C listed above in a country where English is the primary language. Booth University College uses the exempt countries list of the University of Manitoba. Applicants from these countries will receive a waiver.

Apply for Graduate Studies

Canadian Applicants

If you're a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, apply for the graduate program as a domestic applicant.

Interntional Applicants

If you're not a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, you must apply for the graduate program as an international applicant.

Step 1. Submit Your Application Fee

You must pay a $150 non-refundable application fee before receiving a link to your online application.

Step 2. Apply Online

Check your email. After your application fee is processed, you will receive a link by email. Follow the link to complete your online application.

Step 3. Arrange for Official Transcripts

Have all of your official transcripts, including high school and college or university records, sent to Booth University College’s Admissions Office. Transcripts should be delivered unopened or sent directly from the issuing school to our Admissions Office.

For applicants with a MyCreds account, follow these instructions to share your digital documents:

  • Select the Share option: Send my documents to a registered organization
  • Select Booth University College in the Recipient field

Step 4. Accept the offer of admission with a tuition deposit

When you are offered admission to Booth University College, a non-refundable $2,500 deposit will be required prior to receiving your letter of acceptance and your Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL).
