Dr. Carrie Selin

Sessional Instructor

Dr. Carrie Selin has been teaching as a sessional instructor for Booth University College since 2020. Her passion and love for science directed her to complete a PhD in Microbiology in 2012. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with students in hopes that her passion may ignite excitement and curiosity in the world around them. Dr. Selin currently holds a full-time position as the Wawatay academic programming lead in the Faculty of Science at the University of Manitoba. Her scientific research training includes a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Microbiology and a research associate position in plant science in the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences. Dr. Selin continues to develop and teach courses and gets to interact and guide students to help them navigate their journey through the post-secondary system.
