Cheryl Blahey is a chartered professional accountant (CPA, CMA) with a host of leadership experience in the public sector, agricultural industry and professional services industry at national and regional levels.
Since 2009, Cheryl has held the position of chief financial officer with the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) specializing in finance, procurement, material management, real property and Security. Prior to joining the CGC, she held various leadership positions in the private sector with Online Business Systems, ConAgra Grain Canada and United Grain Growers.
Outside of work, Cheryl and her husband Joe concentrate on raising two feisty, active children. Cheryl is a dedicated hockey mom who is passionate about volunteering in her community. In her spare time, she loves to enjoy nature through camping and traveling.
Inspired by her father’s love of teaching, Cheryl is a dynamic and energetic coach who finds joy in passing on what she has learned and inspiring others to reach their full potential.
