Kathleen McDonald

Kathleen has worked with children and youth in various roles since 2004. Kathleen graduated from Booth University College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and graduated from Wilfrid Laurier in 2020 with a Master of Social Work (MSW). Kathleen is a registered social worker (RSW) and a play therapist intern with the Canadian Association of Play Therapists (CAPT). Kathleen also has a background in criminology, early childhood education, and youth work.

Kathleen is the owner and clinical director of Courageous Connections Counseling & Consulting, providing clinical services for children, youth, and families. Kathleen is a research assistant with Research and Education for Solutions to Violence and Abuse (RESOLVE) Manitoba, conducting research related to the incidence and impact of family/gender-based violence, including violence against women and girls. Kathleen is a board member of the Attachment Network of Manitoba.
