Stay active and meet new people by participating in intramural sports, joining sports nights, or using the nearby gym. Many of our athletic clubs and activities are initiated by students, so don't be shy to voice your interest or try something new.

Student Clubs

There are many ways to stay active and involved while forming new friendships and connections. Join the Running Club, participate in a Student Council ice-skating event, or form your Student Club.

Why Form a Club?

Student Clubs create connections between students who have a common interest. Being part of a club is valuable for you and others. Clubs can encourage fitness (Running Club), expand a program of interest (Film Club), develop a skill (Debate Club), or even enhance study skills (Course-based Study Clubs). Make friends, encourage each other, and learn something new.

How to Form a Club

To form a student club, you'll need at least five students to indicate their interest. One student will be the primary group contact. A brief description of the club's purpose is required. Once approved, your club can request funding from the Student Council for specific events.

To request a Student Club Application Form, contact the Student Council

Team Sports

Intramurals

Driven by demand, our student services team organizes recreational sports opportunities throughout the school year. During Orientation week in September, we publicize and promote intramural sports, providing students with the opportunity to indicate the sports they’re interested in. If there’s a demand for a specific intramural sport, our student services team is happy to organize games.

Evening Sports

Our evening sports games and tournaments are often followed by free pizza! Games include floor hockey, volleyball, basketball, badminton, or any sport that gets your interest. We’ll advertise these events throughout the year, so stay tuned and follow us on social media. If you’re interested in organizing a sports night, contact our Student Services Coordinator and we’ll work together.
