Rev. (Dr.) Rob A. Fringer

Rev. (Dr.) Rob Fringer was appointed the 7th President and Vice Chancellor of Booth University College with effect July 1, 2023.

Rob brings a wealth of experience in higher education, leadership, and innovation to Booth UC. As an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene, Rob is eager to support our commitment to Education for a Better World and help our students translate that commitment into reality.

Rob joins Booth UC, having been Principal and Senior Lecturer in Biblical Studies and Biblical Languages at the Nazarene Theological College in Australia and New Zealand. He has also held the roles of Research Active Faculty in Biblical Studies and Biblical Language at the Sydney College of Divinity in Sydney, Australia, Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia, and Honorary Research Fellow at the School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Rob has authored 5 books, edited 6 others, and has dozens of published academic and ecclesial articles and book chapters.

Rob has been involved in assigned ministry positions since 1995, working as a youth pastor at churches in California, Missouri, and Massachusetts; as a volunteer missionary in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), as an associate pastor of discipleship and community outreach in New Hampshire, and then more recently as an assigned educator in Australia. Rob has also held several denominational roles for the Church of the Nazarene in the Asia Pacific Region, including Field Discipleship Coordinator, Regional Discipleship Council Member, and Field Education Coordinator.
