The Life Long Learning Award is a scholarship established to recognize and support individuals who have demonstrated resilience, perseverance, and a commitment to personal growth through education, specifically students who have participated in programming at The Salvation Army Winnipeg Centre of Hope (Shelter U).
This award aligns with Booth University College’s mission to educate students for thinking critically, acting ethically, and leading courageously, while extending our commitment to social justice and community transformation. This award is also renewable for one year.
To be eligible:
- Must be a student who has participated in the Shelter U program at the Winnipeg Centre of Hope.
- Accepted into a Booth University College undergraduate program.
- Demonstrates a desire for personal development and lifelong learning.
- Meets the same academic and admissions standards as those eligible for the Entrance Scholarship.
