Booth UC is thrilled to announce that Matthew Peters has been granted the authority to advise our international students as a newly certified Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor (RISIA)!
Our international students have been asking for this kind of support and we are very pleased to be able to now provide it.

A Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIA) is an international student advisor (ISA) licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, the national regulatory board for immigration consultants. RISIAs are employed in the Canadian education sector and can provide immigration advice to international students and their dependents about:
- Study permits
- Temporary resident visas
- Study permits related to other permits currently available in Canadian immigration programs
We'd like to offer our congratulations to Matt! He worked extremely hard for many months to successfully acquire this certification.
